Idyll Shift is a contemporary dance theatre company based in New Jersey. Through a feminist lens, we fuse classical text with contemporary dance in order to shift audience perspectives of well-known narratives. 

 

Founded in 2018, Idyll Shift has presented works at Rochester Fringe Festival and throughout central Jersey. Our works have been supported by NYU Tisch Staff Grants, Raritan Valley Community College's Adjunct Research Grant, and Dance New Jersey. Idyll Shift was a 2020 M-U-S-E Residency awardee.
