Our newest project shifts perspective on the four lovers; Helena, Lysander, Demetrius, and Hermia. We follow the lovers on their journey through the woods and witness as they get lost in their own fears and insecurities. 

 

This work is made possible in part through the support of the NYU Tisch staff grant program and Dance NJ's Mini Grant program .

Exploring themes of gender, race, and power dynamics this adaptation follows Viola's story as she fights to survive in a foreign land.

A modern (dance) retelling of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night

Premiered at the Rochester Fringe Festival (Rochester, NY)

This heart wrenching duet explores themes of gaslighting and domestic abuse as it retells the traditionally comedic story of "Taming of the Shrew" from Katherine's persepctive.

A modern (dance) retelling of William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew

Premiered at the Arts Annex (Dunellen, NJ)

Through the addition of  "underlings" to physicalize the witches intentions and embody the inner landscape of Macbeth's psyche, this production fused modern dance and Shakespeare to create a chilling landscape of psychological horror.
